Paul Corner, a founder member of ASMI and Honorary President since 2022, is Professor Emeritus of the University of Siena, where he taught contemporary European history and directed the Centre for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes.

He has published books and articles on Italian Fascism and on totalitarianism in general. His most recent book is Mussolini in Myth and Memory (OUP 2022).
