ASMI will consider sponsoring appropriate conferences, workshops, and similar events organised by its members. Conference organisers interested in applying for an ASMI sponsorship should submit a completed application form. There are three deadlines per year: 1 February, 1 June, 1 October.

Selection will be made on the basis of the following: evidence of how ASMI support will add value; a coherent programme; availability of preferred conference dates; a viable budget with information about other possible sources of funding. The contribution to the conference will be a maximum of £500. Applicants must be members of ASMI.

Asmi Gender Policy

ASMI strongly recommends that the following guidelines be adhered to for any event or conference that receives funding:

1. gender balance among speakers (i.e. not including panel chairs/moderators) will be observed both in individual conference sessions and in events as a whole;
2. if there is more than one keynote address, gender balance will be observed among them.
