Three decades since the mafia bombing campaign of the early 1990s, this year’s ASMI conference will explore the relationship between mafias and the State in the context of modern and contemporary Italian history.
Welcoming proposals from scholars from a variety of disciplines as well as practitioners in the field, including journalists and anti-mafia prosecutors, this conference offers a platform for transdisciplinary and cross-sector reflections on the state of the international scholarly debate around the past, present, and future of mafia organised crime and the Antimafia in Italy.
